The Sensex is now down 729 points at 15,642.The NSE Nifty is down 207 points at 4,735.HDFC has slumped 8.7% to Rs 2,385. ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank have tumbled around 7% each to Rs 776 and Rs 1,305, respectively.ONGC has shed 7% at Rs 978. DLF has dropped 6.5% to Rs 651.Hindalco, Infosys and Reliance Energy have plunged over 6% each to Rs 165, Rs 1,432 and Rs 1,255, respectively.TCS has slipped over 5.5% to Rs 821. SBI and Jaiprakash Associates have declined nearly 5% each to Rs 1,597 and Rs 229, respectively.Cipla has moved up 1.3% to Rs 220.Out of 2,652 stocks traded so far, 1,372 have advanced, 1,222 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
