The Sensex is now down 79 points at 14,492.Hindalco has soared nearly 4% to Rs 146. SBI has surged 2.4% to Rs 1,411.ITC has gained 2% at Rs 165. HDFC and HDFC Bank have rallied 1.5% each to Rs 1,890 and Rs 1,170, respectively.NTPC has moved up 1.3% to Rs 160. Dr.Reddy's and Reliance Communications are up 1% each at Rs 656 and Rs 511, respectively.Tata Motors has plunged over 5% to Rs 709. BHEL and Grasim have slumped 3% each to Rs 1,374 and Rs 2,446, respectively.Cipla and HLL have shed 2.7% each to Rs 218 and Rs 196, respectively. Satyam has slipped over 2% to Rs 468.Wipro and ACC have declined 1.5% each to Rs 536 and Rs 840, respectively.Larsen & Toubro and Infosys are down 1% each at Rs 1,981 and Rs 1,919, respectively.Out of 2,628 stocks traded so far, 1,301 have declined, 1,244 have advanced and 83 are unchanged.
