Sensex down 79pts; Tata Steel, RCom drag

 HDFC and HDFC Bank have slipped around 2% each to Rs 1,766 and Rs 1,091, respectively.

SBI and Hero Honda have shed 1.7% each to Rs 1,283 and Rs 682, respectively.

 Ranbaxy has declined 1.5% to Rs 384. Reliance, Reliance Energy and ACC are down over 1% each to Rs 1,732, Rs 563 and Rs 876, respectively.

NTPC has soared 2% to Rs 159. HLL has rallied 1.7% to Rs 202, and Satyam has advanced 1% to Rs 457.

Out of 2,320 stocks traded so far, 1,267 have declined, 972 have advanced and 81 are unchanged.
