The Sensex is now down 83 points at 10,210.Hindalco has dropped 3.5% to Rs 161. Reliance has slipped 3% to Rs 1,002.Gujarat Ambuja, Reliance Communications, ACC and Tata Steel have plunged over 2.5% each to Rs 102, Rs 242, Rs 801 and Rs 482, respectively.Larsen & Toubro and ITC was down around 2% each at Rs 2,082 and Rs 169, respectively.ONGC and Ranbaxy have gained over 1.5% each at Rs 1,045 and Rs 326, respectively.The market breadth is extremely negative - out of 2,204 stocks traded so far, 1,638 have declined, 498 have advanced and 68 are unchanged.
