Sensex down 89pts; Satyam, Tata Steel firm

 NTPC and Infosys have dropped 1.5% each to Rs 143 and Rs 2,067, respectively.

HDFC, Bajaj Auto and Reliance Energy are down 1% each at Rs 1,575, Rs 2,508 and Rs 481, respectively.

Satyam has advanced 1.5% to Rs 471, and Tata Steel has added 1.3% to Rs 445.

Out of 2,469 stocks traded so far, 1,471 have declined, 938 have advanced and 60 are unchanged.
