The Sensex is now down 908 points at 18,144.Reliance Energy has slumped 11.5% to Rs 1,687. Bharti Airtel has tumbled over 9% to Rs 1,008.SBI and ICICI Bank have plunged 8% each to Rs 1,769 and Rs 1,064, respectively.HDFC, NTPC, Tata Steel, Reliance Communications, ONGC and Mahindra & Mahindra have shed around 7% each at Rs 2,385, Rs 215, Rs 843, Rs 707, Rs 1,095 and Rs 759, respectively.TCS has surged 2.6% to Rs 1,096, and Satyam has gained 1.3% at Rs 456.The market breadth is extremely negative - out of 2,295 stocks traded so far, 1,860 have declined, 411 have advanced and 24 are unchanged.
