The Sensex is now down 404 points at 17,736. The NSE Nifty is down 132 points at 5,191.Satyam has plunged 4.3% to Rs 391. Hindalco has tumbled 4% to Rs 166.Cipla and ITC have shed 3.3% each at Rs 196 and Rs 194, respectively.Wipro and Reliance Energy have dropped 3% each to Rs 412 and Rs 2,475, respectively.ONGC has plunged 2.8% to Rs 998. Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto and Hindustan Unilever have slipped around 2.5% each to Rs 717, Rs 2,281 and Rs 200, respectively.Ranbaxy and Reliance Communications have also slipped around 1.5% each to Rs 374 and Rs 665, respectively.NTPC and Larsen & Toubro have shed 2.3% each at Rs 212 and Rs 3,695, respectively.Ambuja Cements, Maruti, Bharti Airtel and DLF have declined around 2% each to Rs 118, Rs 813, Rs 882 and Rs 853, respectively.Infosys has dropped 1.7% to Rs 1,485. TCS has shed 1.5% at Rs 888.Mahindra & Mahindra, ICICI Bank and Tata Steel are down around 1% each at Rs 656, Rs 1,140 and Rs 791, respectively.ACC has surged over 2% to Rs 781.Out of 2,776 stocks traded so far, 1,602 have advanced, 1,193 have declined and 55 are unchanged.
