Markets are weak in early trades. The Sensex touched a low of 17,028 and rebounded to a high of 17,096. The index is now up five points at 17,058.
The Nifty is up four points at 5,105.
Sectoral indices are also flat. Among them consumer durables and FMCG stocks have gained.
The US markets ended on a flat note. The Dow closed at 10564, higher by 11 points, Nasdaq ended at 2340, up eight points and S&P shut at 1140, up one point.
The Asian markets have opened on a flat note this morning.
The Hang Seng has slipped 11 points to 21,197. The Nikkei is flat at 10,559, down nine points.
Tata Motors has gained 1.4% at Rs 782. Hero Honda has added 1% to Rs 1,895.
Reliance Infrastructure, ITC and ACC have moved up around 1% each.
However, DLF has slipped 0.8% to Rs 309.
