The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 47 points at 13,649. Fresh buying in the opening trades saw the index flare up to a high of 13,712. Continued selling in select index heavyweights saw the index dip into the negative zone at the fag end of the day. The index dropped to a low of 13,586 - down 126 points from the day's high.The Sensex finally settled with a gain of 15 points at 13,617.
