The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 54 points at 15,100. The index touched a high of 15,115 in morning trades and thereafter drifted lower as the day progressed. Auto and technology stocks were the major gainers today.The index slipped into the negative zone to a low of 14,966 - down 149 points from the day's high. Banking, cement and telecom stocks witnessed profit-taking.The Sensex finally ended with a marginal loss (36 points) at 15,010.
