The Sensex exhibited lacklustre movement for most part of the trading day today. After opening a tad (two points) higher at 14,469, the index swung in and out of the positive zone amid a narrow band of 80 odd points - 14,441-14,522 (day's high). The index slipped to a low of 14,425, but recovered smartly and rebounded into the positive zone in late trades led by fresh buying in telecom majors - Bharti Airtel and Reliance Communications. The Sensex finally ended with a gain of 21 points at 14,488.
