The NSE Nifty is up eight points at 5,204.
Reliance Communications has rallied nearly 3% to Rs 591. Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra have gained 2% each at Rs 653 and Rs 655, respectively.
Jaiprakash Associates and Maruti have advanced 1.8% each to Rs 271 and Rs 744, respectively.
NTPC has moved up 1.4% to Rs 197, and Satyam is up over 1% at Rs 485.

ACC has slipped over 2% at Rs 758. Grasim and HDFC have shed 1.5% each at Rs 2,435 and Rs 2,840, respectively.
HDFC Bank and Ranbaxy are down over 1% each at Rs 1,529 and Rs 480, respectively.
