The Sensex opened weak below the 6,700 mark at 6,697 - down 11 points over its last close. Although selective buying pulled the index into the green to touch a high of 6,725, profit-taking in most of the counters erased the gains. The Sensex, as a result, is now flat at 6,708.Reliance is up Rs 2 at Rs 533, while ITC, too, has advanced a per cent (Rs 15) to Rs 1,585. HLL is up 1.56% (Rs 2) at Rs 140.Infosys is weak at Rs 2,228 - down Rs 4. Other tech majors, too, are largely weak in early trades.While Ranbaxy has gained 1.18% (Rs 13) to Rs 1,115, other pharma majors are displaying a divergent trend. L&T has tumbled 2.24% (Rs 24) to Rs 1,070, and HDFC has shed 2.19% (Rs 17) to Rs 747.Auto and cement scrips, too, have eased in early trades.
