The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 53 points at 16,270. The index slipped to a low of 16,171, and then rebounded into the positive zone and touched a high of 16,310. The index is now up 11 points at 16,228.The NSE Nifty is up four points at 4,882.HDFC has surged over 2% to Rs 2,645. SBI has moved up 1.5% to Rs 1,765.Hindalco and ONGC have gained 1.3% each at Rs 165 and Rs 1,088, respectively.Infosys has slipped 1.5% to Rs 1,470. HDFC Bank, Jaiprakash Associates and Wipro are down over 1% each at Rs 1,400, Rs 231 and Rs 430, respectively.
