The Sensex is flat and is now at 16,856, down six points and the Nifty is 10 points down at 5,055.
Among the Sensex-30 stocks, Mahindra & Mahindra and ONGC have added around 3% each to Rs 560 and Rs 1,161, respectively.
The other gainers are Hindustan Unilever, SBI and Maruti, up 1% each.
On the other hand Sterlite Industries and DLF have slipped 3% each to Rs 658 and Rs 272, respectively.
Hindalco industries, Jaiprakash Associates, ACC and Reliance Communications are down 1-2% each.
The market breadth is positive, out of 2,825 shares traded, 1,428 have advanced and 1,310 have declined so far on the BSE.
Among the sectoral indices, oil & gas and healthcare indices have added 1% each while realty and IT indices have slipped 1.5%, respectively.
