The Sensex is almost flat at 12,789, up two points.Tata Steel has soared 4% to Rs 456. HDFC has rallied 2% to Rs 1,528.ACC has surged 1.6% to Rs 726. Cipla, Tata Motors, HLL, Hindalco, Gujarat Ambuja, Grasim and Maruti are up over 1% each to Rs 232, Rs 690, Rs 200, Rs 132, Rs 106, Rs 2,086 and Rs 753, respectively. Dr.Reddy's and Wipro are down over 1% each to Rs 737 and Rs 544, respectively.The market breadth is positive - out of 1,853 stocks traded so far, 1,142 have moved up, 652 have declined and 59 are unchanged.
