The Nifty is trading at 5066, up 54 points.
Infosys is the top gainer in the Sensex, up 3.65% to Rs 1,893, ICICI Bank is up 2.75% to Rs 921. TCS is also 2.6% higher at Rs 996. L&T and Jaiprakash Associates are up over 2% each.
Satyam's losses have reduced; it is now down 3.4% to Rs 484. ITC, Hindalco and Ranbaxy are down under half per cent each.
