The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 44 points at 9,154.
Infosys has soared 6% to Rs 1,227, and Wipro has surged 5% to Rs 239.
Ranbaxy has moved up 4.7% to Rs 217. TCS has gained 3.8% at Rs 531.
Tata Power and ITC have rallied around 3% each to Rs 750 and Rs 170, respectively.
Tata Steel has moved up 2.7% to Rs 206. ACC and SBI have added 2.3% each to Rs 508 and Rs 1,183, respectively.
Reliance Infrastructure and Sun Pharma have gained 2% each at Rs 490 and Rs 1,145, respectively.
Reliance Communications (RCom) and Tata Motors have tumbled around 4% each to Rs 172 and Rs 156, respectively.

HDFC and ICICI Bank have plunged 2.7% each to Rs 1,578 and Rs 426, respectively.
Grasim and Hindustan Unilever have slipped 2.5% each to Rs 1,324 and Rs 256, respectively. Bharti Airtel has declined 2.3% to Rs 610.
Jaiprakash Associates has dropped 2% to Rs 68. ONGC is down 1.7% at Rs 642.
