Sensex in red again, down 200pts; ICICI, NTPC slip 6%

The Sensex has slipped back into the negative zone and is now down 192 points at 10,390.

Reliance Infrastructure has slumped 6% to Rs 524. ICICI Bank and NTPC have plunged nearly 6% each to Rs 391 and Rs 156, respectively.

BHEL has shed 5% at Rs 1,247. Jaiprakash Associates and Reliance Communications have tumbled nearly 5% each to Rs 71 and Rs 247, respectively.

Sterlite, Grasim and Maruti have dropped around 4.5% each to Rs 285, Rs 1,310 and Rs 648, respectively.

DLF has slipped 3.5% to Rs 314. SBI has declined nearly 3% to Rs 1,500.

Satyam has surged over 2% to Rs 279. TCS and Wipro have advanced over 1% each to Rs 502 and Rs 281, respectively.

The market breadth is marginally negative again - out of 2,440 stocks traded so far, 1,239 have declined, 1,139 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
