The Sensex is now at 16,643, down 67 points.
The NSE Nifty is at 4,943, down 22 points.
The BSE Healthcare, oil&gas and IT indices are up around 1%.
ICICI Bank has declined 3% to Rs 844. Reliance Communications and Sterlite have dropped around 2% each to Rs 304 and Rs 759, respectively.
Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel, HDFC and DLF are down over 1% each.
Maruti has advanced 3% to Rs 1,559. Grasim Industries and ACC have added 2% each at Rs 2,834 and Rs 845, respectively.
The market breadth is negative, out of 2,730 shares traded, 1,219 advanced and 1,412 declined on the BSE so far.
