The Sensex opened with a loss of nine points at 6,448, and shed more ground on selling pressure in old and new economy stocks to touch an early low of 6,419.While the Sensex is now down 26 points at 6,431, the Nifty has lost eight points to 1,985.ONGC has slipped a per cent (Rs 8) to Rs 876, and Reliance is down a rupee at Rs 537. Infosys has dropped 1.45% (Rs 30) to Rs 2,031. While Satyam is down a per cent (Rs 3) at Rs 428, Wipro is marginally weak at Rs 641.ICICI Bank has shed 1.31% (Rs 5) to Rs 387. While HDFC Bank is down a per cent (Rs 3) at Rs 527, SBI is down Rs 3 at Rs 616.Hindalco has lost a per cent (Rs 13) to Rs 1,201, and Bharti is down 1.12% (Rs 2) at Rs 217.HPCL, however, has gained 1.21% (Rs 4) to Rs 334, while HDFC is up 1.89% (Rs 14) at Rs 750.
