The Sensex opened with a huge positive gap of 57 points at 10,859. The index touched a low of 10,855, and soon surged to a high of 10,889. The index is now up 72 points at 10,874.Gujarat Ambuja has surged 2.8% to Rs 100.50. Satyam has moved up 1.8% to Rs 819.SBI, Hindalco and Tata Motors have gained 1.6% each to Rs 970, Rs 158 and Rs 908, respectively.HDFC Bank and Grasim have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 768 and Rs 1,890, respectively.Reliance, Larsen & Toubro, ACC, TCS and Hero Honda are the other smart gainers among the Sensex stocks.ONGC and Infosys are the only notable losers.
