The Sensex has pared gains and is now up 117 points at 16,041.The NSE Nifty is up 41 points at 4,841.DLF has zoomed 6.5% to Rs 725, and Larsen & Toubro has soared 6% to Rs 2,891. Bajaj Auto has rallied 5.3% to Rs 2,090.NTPC and ONGC have surged nearly 3% each to Rs 190 and Rs 996, respectively.ACC has gained 2.5% at Rs 786. Grasim and HDFC Bank have rallied over 2% each to Rs 2,800 and Rs 1,339, respectively.Satyam has plunged 4.4% to Rs 390. HDFC has slumped 3% to Rs 2,494.Bharti Airtel has dropped 2.7% to Rs 781, and Maruti has shed 2.5% at Rs 872.Tata Motors and Cipla have slipped around 2% each to Rs 660 and Rs 197, respectively.Reliance Energy has declined 1.5% to Rs 1,241. Wipro and TCS are down 1% each at Rs 398 and Rs 824, respectively.Out of 2,584 stocks traded so far, 1,911 have advanced, 626 have declined and 47 are unchanged.
