The Sensex has pared some gains and slipped below the 8700-mark. Presently the index is up 32 points at 8682. The Nifty is up 13 points at 2617. Auto and cement stocks have pared some of their gains. Wipro is up 2.7% to Rs 424. Tata Steel and TCS are up 1.3% each at Rs 372 and Rs 1,525, respectively. Hindalco has gained 1.3% at Rs 136.On the other hand few stocks had extended losses. Tata Power has slipped 1.5% to Rs 440, ICICI Bank has declined 1.1% to Rs 540 and Dr.Reddy's is down 0.9% at Rs 931.The market breadth is almost neutral. Out of a total of 2,528 stocks traded on the BSE, 1,323 stocks have advanced, 1,132 stocks have declined and 73 stocks are unchanged.
