The Sensex opened 25 points lower at 9,205. Nervousness in early trades saw the index slip to a low of 9,136. The Sensex, however, has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 56 points at 9,285.
Reliance Communications has soared 4.5% to Rs 206. Tata Motors has rallied 3.5% to Rs 156.
SBI, DLF and Grasim have surged around 3% each to Rs 1,207, Rs 220 and Rs 956, respectively.
HDFC, BHEL and Mahindra & Mahindra have moved up 2.3% each to Rs 1,545, Rs 1,389 and Rs 260, respectively.
Tata Power, Ranbaxy and Reliance Infrastructure have gained 2% each at Rs 698, Rs 215 and Rs 556, respectively.
HDFC Bank and Reliance have advanced 1.7% each to Rs 929 and Rs 1,178, respectively.

ICICI Bank and ACC are up 1.5% each at Rs 370 and Rs 435, respectively.
Infosys has plunged over 3% to Rs 1,156. TCS has shed 2.8% at Rs 535, and Satyam has slipped over 2% to Rs 228.
Sterlite, Hindustan Unilever and Wipro are down over 1% each at Rs 254, Rs 234 and Rs 230, respectively.
