The Sensex has recovered from the low and is now down 35 points at 14,840.
TCS continues to languish in red, down 50% at Rs 383. Sterlite has plunged 6% to Rs 624. Tata Steel has slumped 3% to Rs 420.
Tata Motors, ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel have dropped 2% each to Rs 335, Rs 719 and Rs 803, respectively.
Wipro, DLF, Grasim, Reliance, Maruti and Infosys have declined 1-2% each.
On the other hand, Reliance Infrastructure has surged 5.5% to Rs 1,260. SBI has gained 2.5% at Rs 1,685.
Ranbaxy, Tata Power, Jaiprakash Associates, ITC, BHEL, Larsen & Toubro and Reliance Communications have added 1-2% each.
The market breadth is negative. Out of 2,040 stocks traded, 1,149 have declined while 835 have advanced.
