The Sensex has recovered partially from the day's low of 16,458, and is now down 675 points at 16,790.The NSE Nifty is down 205 points at 4,915.Reliance Energy has slumped 14.5% to Rs 1,677. Mahindra & Mahindra has tumbled nearly 8% to Rs 594.HDFC has plunged 6.7% to Rs 2,609. ONGC and Hindustan Unilever have shed 6% each at Rs 935 and Rs 199, respectively.BHEL, SBI and Reliance Communications have slipped around 5.5% each to Rs 1,900, Rs 2,073 and Rs 612, respectively.Reliance, Ranbaxy and DLF have dropped around 4.5% each at Rs 2,310, Rs 365 and Rs 780, respectively.Hindalco, NTPC and Larsen & Toubro have also slipped around 4.5% each to Rs 153, Rs 195 and Rs 3,376, respectively.ACC and Bajaj Auto are down over 4% each at Rs 747 and Rs 2,125, respectively.Satyam has surged nearly 3% to Rs 422. TCS has advanced 2.5% to Rs 922, and Infosys has added 1.7% to Rs 1,578.Out of 2,653 stocks traded so far, 2,432 have declined, 193 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
