Sensex slips again; Infosys, TCS drop 4%

The Sensex has slipped back into the negative zone on the back of poor IIP numbers. The index is now down 195 points at 13,731.

The NSE Nifty is down 38 points at 4,124.

TCS, Infosys and Satyam have plunged over 4% each to Rs 832, Rs 1,732 and Rs 460, respectively.

Wipro and HDFC have shed 3.4% each at Rs 416 and Rs 2,048, respectively.

ICICI Bank and Jaiprakash Associates have slipped around 2.5% each to Rs 601 and Rs 167, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, Hindustan Unilever and NTPC have declined over 2% each to Rs 2,475, Rs 213 and Rs 163, respectively.

Reliance Infrastructure is down 2% at Rs 838.

Bharti Airtel has gained 2% at Rs 757. Hindalco has moved up 1.8% to Rs 156.

Ambuja Cements is up over 1% at Rs 80.
