The market has turned weak after a volatile opening and subsequent recovery in mid-morning trades. However, fresh selling pressure in select heavyweights, banking, pharma and other old economy stocks has pulled the index into lower levels.The Sensex is now down 10 points at 6,349, while the Nifty is weak at 1,959 - down four points.HLL has slipped 1.56% (Rs 2) to Rs 133. While Reliance is up a per cent (Rs 4) at Rs 544, ITC has moved up 1.13% (Rs 16) to Rs 1,432.Ranbaxy has scaled down 2.65% (Rs 26) to Rs 958. While Dr. Reddy's has lost 1.59% (Rs 11) to Rs 661, Cipla is marginally up at Rs 267.SBI and HDFC Bank are down a per cent each at Rs 611 (down Rs 5) and Rs 541 (down Rs 6), respectively. ICICI Bank, however, is up a per cent (Rs 4) at Rs 381.Infosys is up Rs 10 at Rs 2,007. While Wipro is down a per cent (Rs 5) at Rs 632, Satyam is down a rupee at Rs 412.L&T at Rs 1,008 (down Rs 27 or 2.57%), HDFC at Rs 735 (down Rs 14 or 1.84%) and Tata Power at Rs 353 (down Rs 7 or 1.93%) have lost more ground on fresh selling pressure.Hero Honda has lost 1.29% (Rs 7) to Rs 532, and Bajaj is down a per cent (Rs 6) at Rs 1,104.Zee, however, is up 2.54% (Rs 4) at Rs 146.
