Sensex slips into red; Wipro, Infosys move up

The Sensex started on a flat note at 10,841. The index is exhibiting volatility. The index touched a high of 10,885, but has slipped into red and is now down 26 points at 10,791.

Wipro has advanced over 1.5% to Rs 286. Infosys, Reliance Communications, Reliance Infrastructure and TCS have moved up over 1% each at Rs 1,398, Rs 217, Rs 676 and Rs 549, respectively.

Maruti Suzuki has however slipped around 1.5% to Rs 744. Larsen & Toubro has declined 1% to Rs 818.
