The Sensex continues to display firm trend, and is now up 229 at 14,630.
ICICI Bank has soared nearly 4% to Rs 670. HDFC has moved up 3.3% to Rs 2,357. SBI and HDFC Bank have rallied around 3% each to Rs 1,387 and Rs 1,229, respectively.
DLF have surged 4% to Rs 503. While Reliance nfrastructure has gained 3% at Rs 1,009, and Jaiprakash Associates has added 2% to Rs 168.
Tata Motors has advanced 3.4% to Rs 440. Grasim has gained 2.3% at Rs 1,974.
Satyam, Larsen & Toubro and Mahindra & Mahindra are up around 2% each at Rs 394, Rs 2,656 and Rs 560, respectively.
ACC, Reliance Communications and Bharti Airtel are up 1.7% each at Rs 569, Rs 413 and Rs 820, respectively.
Ranbaxy has slipped 2% to Rs 512.
