The market-mood remains bullish on the back of across-the-board buying in the early noon trades. The Sensex has surged 119 points to 6,222. The Nifty has advanced 37 points to 1,951.Infosys, with volumes of over 2.83 lakh, has flared up 3.71% (Rs 71) to Rs 1,974. While Wipro has moved up 2.15% (Rs 14) to Rs 671, Satyam has gained 2.77% (Rs 10) to Rs 366.SBI, on volumes of over 5.92 lakh, has gained nearly 3% (Rs 17) to Rs 590. While HDFC Bank is trading firm with a gain of 4.70% (Rs 23) at Rs 502, ICICI Bank is up 2.35% (Rs 8) at Rs 353.Reliance is still up a per cent (Rs 5) at Rs 523, with volumes of over 8.86 lakh. While HLL is unchanged with a gain of 1.19% at Rs 141, ITC is up a rupee at Rs 1,270.Bajaj has advanced 2.75% (Rs 30) to Rs 1,110. Hero Honda (up Rs 11 or 1.94% to Rs 558), Maruti (up Rs 21 or 5% to Rs 434) and Tata Motors (up Rs 13 or 2.65% to Rs 487) are also trading with sharp gains.Cipla has surged 4.71% (Rs 12) to Rs 264, and Dr. Reddy's has moved up 2.50% (Rs 18) to Rs 751. Ranbaxy is up 1.18% (Rs 13) at Rs 1,081.Gujarat Ambuja at Rs 415 (up Rs 14 or 3.57%), ACC at Rs 343 (up Rs 10 or 2.86%) and Grasim at Rs 1,265 (up Rs 19 or 1.55%) continue to trade on a firm note.Tisco, with volumes of over 10.70 lakh, has added 3.15% (Rs 11) to Rs 355. While Reliance Energy has added 1.93% (Rs 10) to Rs 506, Tata Power is up 3.45% (Rs 12) at Rs 351.Bank stocks continue to rule firm on the back of strong buying support. BoI has spurted 12.43% (Rs 9) to Rs 85, and Vijaya Bank has soared 12.24% (Rs 7) to Rs 66. While Allahabad Bank has mopped up 10.19% gains (Rs 7) to Rs 71, Union Bank has gained 8.55% (Rs 8) to Rs 102. Syndicate Bank, IDBI Bank, Andhra Bank, OBC, BoB, Canara Bank, PNB, Dena Bank and Indian Overseas Bank have notched up 5-8% gains.UTI Bank, however, is down 1.28% at Rs 178.Hexaware has zoomed 12.60% (Rs 60) to Rs 534. IGate Global, which reported a 218% surge in Q3 net, has shot up 6.62% (Rs 17) to Rs 271. Mastek and Tata Elxsi are up nearly 5% each at Rs 345 and Rs 152, respectively. CMC, however, has dropped 4.37% (Rs 31) to Rs 677.
