After opening with a positive gap of 17 points at 9635, the Sensex had slipped to touch an intra-day low of 9612. However, fresh buying at lower levels saw the index surge to a new all-time intra-day peak of 9681.The index is now up 60 points at 9678.HDFC Bank and Ranbaxy are leading the upmove with gains of 2% each.Hero Honda, HDFC, ONGC, Reliance, Satyam, Tata Motors and Tata Power have gained over 1% each.Only three out of the 30 index stocks are in red.
