The Sensex has touched a high of 9667 and is now up 109 points at 9,659.ICICI Bank is up 3.6% at Rs 592.HLL has jumped 3% to Rs 194.Dr.Reddy's has gained 2.8% at Rs 1,072.BHEL, Tata Motors and Cipla have advanced over 2% each to Rs 1,678, Rs 680 and Rs 441, respectively.Larsen & Toubro, Bajaj Auto, Ranbaxy, ACC, Reliance Energy, ITC, Infosys and Hero Honda are up 1-2% each.Out of 2,423 stocks traded so far 1,158 have advanced, 1,198 have declined and the rest are unchanged.United Phosphorous has soared over 12% to Rs 296. Alfa Laval, ICI India, Colgate and EIH have surged 6-8% each. Indian Hotels, Micro Inks, Sterlite Optical, Bharat Electricals, MphasiS BFL, HCL Infosys and BASF India are the other major gainers.Century Enka has nosedived by nearly 9% to Rs 193. Canara Bank, Escorts, Century Textiles, BPCL, Balaji Tele, Alok Industries, Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Jindal Stainless, Union Bank and Andhra Bank are in declining mode.
