The Sensex touched a peak of 10,718, and is now up 114 points at 10,710.Tata Power has soared over 7% to Rs 587. Reliance Energy has surged 4.6% to Rs 663, and NTPC has jumped over 4% to Rs 136.Tata Motors has rallied nearly 4% to Rs 939. Hindalco has moved up 3% to Rs 163.Tata Steel and Dr.Reddy's have added 2% each to Rs 464 and Rs 1,348, respectively.Bajaj Auto, ITC, Ranbaxy, ITC, BHEL, Larsen & Toubro, ICICI Bank, Cipla and TCS are the other prominent gainers among the Sensex stocks.The market breadth continues to remain positive. Out of 2,359 stocks traded so far, 1,413 have moved up, 882 have slipped and 64 are unchanged.Debutant Reliance Communication Ventures (RCoVL) tops the value chart with a turnover of Rs 334.75 crore followed by Tata Motors (Rs 54.47 crore), Titan (Rs 46.77 crore), Educomp Solutions (Rs 43.32 crore) and Maruti (Rs 37.08 crore).RCoVL also leads the volume chart with trades of around 1.16 crore shares followed by KEC Infrastructure (21.21 lakh), Reliance Natural Resources (20.72 lakh), Amar Remedies (14.53 lakh) and Reliance Capital Ventures (13.77 lakh).
