The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 149 points at 17,800, and touched a high of 17,819. The index is now up 116 points at 17,767.The NSE Nifty is up 39 points at 5,240.Reliance Energy has soared over 3% to Rs 1,675. HDFC Bank has surged 2.6% to Rs 1,460.Ambuja Cements has gained 2% at Rs 125, and Infosys has added 1.7% to Rs 1,641.ONGC and Reliance Communications have moved up 1.4% each to Rs 1,028 and Rs 600, respectively.HDFC and Grasim are up 1% each at Rs 2,615 and Rs 2,925, respectively.Bharti Airtel has slipped 1.3% to Rs 839.
