The Sensex has added seven points over its last close to open at 6,886, and clocked a high of 6,902 on steady buying in select old and new economy stocks. It is now up 12 points at 6,891, while the Nifty is flat at 2,160.ONGC has added Rs 4 to Rs 906. While Reliance is up a rupee at Rs 587, ITC and HLL are marginally up at Rs 1,362 and Rs 145, respectively.HDFC Bank is up a per cent (Rs 4) at Rs 605, while ICICI Bank is up with a tepid gains at Rs 401. SBI, however, has commenced weak with a loss of Rs 3 at Rs 723.Bharti has gained 1.46% (Rs 3) to Rs 233, while Reliance Energy is up a per cent (Rs 6) at Rs 594.Bajaj has advanced 1.70% (Rs 18) to Rs 1,102. Other auto majors have commenced on a mixed note.While Infosys has eased in early trades to Rs 2,247 (down Rs 5), Wipro and Satyam are up with steady gains at Rs 723 and Rs 406, respectively.
