The Sensex, which opened 18 points higher over its yesterday's close at 7,774 and moved up to touch a high of 7,843, has shed some gains due to profit-taking in select counters. It is now up up 12 points at 7,768. The Nifty, however, has slipped into the red to 2,350 - down four points.ITC has advanced 1.67% (Rs 28) to Rs 1,697. While Reliance has slipped a per cent (Rs 6) to Rs 736, ONGC is trading lower at Rs 953.Satyam has moved up 2.58% (Rs 14) to Rs 539. While Infosys has jumped 1.53% (Rs 35) to Rs 2,335, Wipro is up a per cent (Rs 6) at Rs 730.HDFC Bank has added 1.27% (Rs 8) to Rs 677. SBI and ICICI Bank are up a per cent each at Rs 809 (up Rs 5) and Rs 524 (up Rs 4), respectively.Bajaj has gained 1.71% (Rs 25) to Rs 1,492. Other auto counters are exhibiting a mixed trend.Bharti has shed 1.47% (Rs 4) to Rs 282. i-flex, which would be acquired by Oracle for a consideration of Rs 2,583 crore, has notched up 6.33% gains (Rs 57) to Rs 953.
