The Sensex touched a new peak of 10,720, and is now up 120 points at 10,715.Tata Power has soared over 7% at Rs 586. Reliance Energy has surged 4.4% to Rs 662, and NTPC is up 3.4% at Rs 135.Tata Motors has rallied 3.7% to Rs 937. Hindalco has added 3.2% to Rs 164. Tata Steel has surged 2.2% to Rs 465.Dr.Reddy's, BHEL, Bajaj Auto and Ranbaxy have moved up 1.7% each to Rs 1,346, Rs 2,163, Rs 2,752 and Rs 443, respectively.ITC, HDFC, Grasim, TCS, ONGC, Cipla and Larsen & Toubro are the other smart gainers among the Sensex stocks.The market breadth continues to remain positive. Out of 2,467 stocks traded so far, 1,465 have advanced, 935 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
