The Sensex is now up 144 points at 13,714.
Sterlite has surged 9.5% to Rs 492. HDFC Bank has gained 4% to Rs 1,287.
Reliance Infrastructure is up 2.5% to Rs 885. DLF and Tata Steel have rallied above 2.4% each to Rs 404 and Rs 482 , respectively.
BHEL is up 2.2% at Rs 1,662.
Grasim, Reliance Industries and ICICI Bank have gained above 1.9%
Wipro has plunged 4% to Rs 375. Satyam has shed 3% at Rs 321.
Tata Motors has lost 1.9% to Rs 386. Infosys is down 1.8% at Rs 1,514. TCS and ACC are the other losers.
