The Sensex is up 145 points at 10,275.HDFC Bank and Bharti Airtel have surged 3.5% each to Rs 752 and Rs 375, respectively.HDFC and Ranbaxy have rallied nearly 3% each to Rs 1,082 and Rs 362, respectively.Tata Motors, Hero Honda and Maruti have gained around 2.5% each at Rs 762, Rs 776 and Rs 741, respectively.Out of 2,206 stocks traded so far, 1,312 have advanced, 822 have declined and 72 are unchanged.
