The Sensex is now up 145 points at 15,789.The NSE Nifty is up 35 points at 4,770.ONGC and Hindustan Unilever (HUL) have surged around 3% each to Rs 1,009 and Rs 236, respectively.Hindalco and Satyam have gained around 2.5% each at Rs 169 and Rs 404, respectively.TCS, HDFC and Jaiprakash Associates rallied over 2% each to Rs 829, Rs 2,437 and Rs 231, respectively.Infosys has advanced 2% to Rs 1,458. ICICI Bank and Reliance Energy have added 1.7% each to Rs 784 and Rs 1,273, respectively.BHEL has shed 2.3% at Rs 2,010, and Bharti Airtel has slipped 1.8% to Rs 812.
