The Sensex touched a high of 12,033, and is now up 147 points at 11,999.Hindalco has surged over 4% to Rs 222. Tata Steel is up 2% at Rs 647.Grasim and Gujarat Ambuja have flared up 2.7% each to Rs 2,415 and Rs 120, respectively. ACC has spurted 1.7% to Rs 968.Cipla has moved up 2.4% to Rs 260. Bajaj Auto has advanced 2% to Rs 3,001, and Hero Honda has added 1.6% to Rs 858.Out of 1,316 stocks traded so far, 1,113 have advanced, 179 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
