ONGC, Reliance Communications and BHEL have moved up 1.8% each to Rs 903, Rs 487 and Rs 2,472, respectively.
Dr.Reddy's has plunged 3.7% to Rs 658. Bajaj Auto and Hero Honda have slipped 1.7% each to Rs 2,672 and Rs 693, respectively.
Out of 2,343 stocks traded so far, 1,576 have advanced, 699 have declined and 68 are unchanged.
