The Sensex is now up 188 points at 14,315.SBI has soared 3.5% to Rs 1,330. Tata Steel has surged 3.3% to Rs 608.Dr.Reddy's has rallied 2.4% to Rs 679. ICICI Bank, Reliance and TCS have gained 2% each at Rs 938, Rs 1,668 and Rs 1,249, respectively.BHEL, ITC and Maruti have moved up 1.8% each to Rs 2,643, Rs 166 and Rs 817, respectively. Infosys has added 1.6% to Rs 1,982.Reliance Energy, Reliance Communications, Bharti Airtel, ACC, HDFC Bank, HDFC, Grasim, Tata Motors, Wipro and NTPC are the other major gainers.Out of 2,531 stocks traded so far, 1,427 have advanced, 1,025 have declined and 79 are unchanged.
