The Sensex after touching a low of 9886 has rebounded into positive zone and is now up 18 points at 9,938.Dr.Reddy's has surged nearly 7% to Rs 1,195.Larsen & Toubro has rallied nearly 3% to Rs 2,228.Tata Power, Hero Honda and Hindalco are up nearly 2% each at Rs 482, Rs 873 and Rs 168, respectively.HDFC has advanced 1.6% to Rs 1,361.ACC, NTPC, Bajaj Auto and BHEL have spurted over 1% each to Rs 581, Rs 116, Rs 2,180 and Rs 1,814, respectively.Reliance Energy and Tata Steel have shed 1.5% each to Rs 627 and Rs 398, respectively.ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, Wipro, Gujarat Amubja and Ranbaxy have declined 1% each to Rs 601, Rs 701, Rs 524, Rs 87.55 and Rs 396, respectively.Out of 2,292 stocks traded so far, 1,452 have advanced, 784 have declined and 56 are unchanged.Cummins has soared 14% to Rs 202. KRBL, Mascon Global, Voltas, Bombay Rayon, Esab India, HFCL, Colgate, VisualSoft, Thermax, National Aluminium, United Phosphorous and Sun Pharma have also posted significant gains. Reliance Industrial Infrastructure has dropped 5% to Rs 471. Celebrity Fashion, Jet, Zee, FDC, Polaris, HCL Infosys, SAIL, Syndicate Bank, FACT, Alok and Pidilite are also on slippery ground.
