Sensex up 207pts; Hindalco drops 3%

 Tata Motors, ICICI Bank, Reliance Communications, Satyam and Infosys have advanced around 3% each to Rs 760, Rs 846, Rs 411, Rs 426 and Rs 2,065, respectively.

Maruti and BHEL have surged 2.8% each at Rs 801 and Rs 2,063, respectively.

Hindalco has plunged 3% to Rs 130. Hero Honda has tumbled over 2% to Rs 669.

NTPC and HDFC Bank have declined over 1% each to Rs 135 and Rs 920, respectively.

 Out of 2,169 stocks traded so far, 1,227 have advanced, 888 have declined and 54 are unchanged.
