The Sensex is now up 235 points at 15,592.The NSE Nifty is up 66 points at 4,690.Jaiprakash (JP) Associates has surged 4.5% to Rs 229. Tata Motors has rallied 3.8% to Rs 644.DLF and Satyam have moved up 3.3% each to Rs 627 and Rs 376, respectively.Hindalco and ICICI Bank have advanced over 3% each to Rs 179 and Rs 864, respectively.Tata Steel has gained 2.7% at Rs 716, and Infosys has added 2.4% to Rs 1,365.Reliance Energy, Reliance and ITC are up nearly 2% each to Rs 1,220, Rs 2,282 and Rs 189, respectively.Bharti Airtel has plunged 3% to Rs 755. Maruti have shed 1.6% at Rs 826, and Ambuja Cements has slipped over 1% to Rs 119.
