The Sensex is now up 26 points at 18,519.Reliance Energy has zoomed over 10% to Rs 1,678. SBI has soared 5.8% to Rs 1,918.Hindalco has surged 3.5% to Rs 192. Tata Steel has rallied 3% to Rs 923.NTPC has moved up 2.6% to Rs 223. Larsen & Toubro, HDFC Bank and Cipla have gained around 2% each at Rs 3,406, Rs 1,505 and Rs 197, respectively.Maruti and Bharti Airtel are up 1% each at Rs 1,114 and Rs 1,015, respectively.ONGC has dropped 3.3% to Rs 1,106. Tata Motors has shed 2.7% to Rs 775.Mahindra & Mahindra has slipped 1.8% to Rs 760. Infosys has declined 1.5% to Rs 1,856.Grasim, Dr.Reddy's, TCS, Bajaj Auto and HDFC are down over 1% each at Rs 3,650, Rs 627, Rs 1,051, Rs 2,495 and Rs 2,540, respectively.Out of 2,766 stocks traded so far, 1,602 have advanced, 1,109 have declined and 55 are unchanged.
