Sensex up 27pts; Tata Motors surges 4%

 Tata Motors has soared nearly 4% to Rs 743, and Bajaj Auto has rallied 2% to Rs 2,146. Maruti has gained 1.7% at Rs 808.

Satyam and Infosys have moved up 1.6% each to Rs 500 and Rs 2,027, respectively. TCS had added 1.3% to Rs 1,192.

ITC and HDFC are down 1% each at Rs 154 and Rs 1,904, respectively.

Out of 2,614 stocks traded so far, 1,368 have advanced, 1,171 have declined and 75 are unchanged.
